White on White Christmas Wreath

Good Monday morning.  I have to work today and then will get to enjoy the rest of the holiday week home on vacation. My husband had to work on Thanksgiving day but we are fortunate that he is off Christmas day.  Disney’s main man, Mickey Mouse never takes a holiday.  He’s a touch boss.  Smile

My project today will be my last holiday wreath of the season.  I love making wreaths so I’m sure I will soon pull out my spring and summer foliage and flowers and keeping them coming. Wreaths are such a Christmas tradition and are perfect hanging on the front door as well as on a card front.

This is a very simple layout and I thought the red layer behind the white was the perfect way to add another touch of color to the project.  I mounted the layer on the main card base with strips of mounting tape to add interest and dimension.

I cut the Impression Obsession Twig Wreath and Pine Sprig Cluster pieces in all white.  I arranged and attached the white foliage to about a 1/2 of the wreath but left the rest of it plain to show off the twig form. I cut pieces of the Holly Leaf Cluster and inserted them in between the sprigs of pine. I punched several 1/8” circles to add around the wreath to fill in and bring another element of color to the design. I finished with an organdy multi loop bow and attached the wreath to the base with mounting tape. I love how this turned out.
