Good Friday morning. When I first saw the Impression Obsession Heart Frame I thought it would be fun to create a project with a framed photo in it of Bob and I for a combination anniversary/Valentine card. It took me a little while to figure out how to create the frame with all those open hearts but I finally did and my craft knife came to the rescue.
I created the correct sized photo in my printer screen and printed it on glossy photo paper. This picture of Bob and I was taken a few years ago while we were on a cruse. Too bad we don’t look that young today. LOL!
I placed the frame on the front of the card, held in place and traced the inside edges of the frame to use a my cutting guide. I removed the frame and cut the opening by hand using my craft knife. I had to be pretty precise since there wasn’t much room for error. I attached adhesive on the back of the frame and attached it over the opening. I accidentally tore the top of one of the larger hearts off when trying to adhere it and gritted my teeth as I replaced it. Hmmmmm! What to do to cover up that boo boo??
After all that cutting and getting so close to accomplishing the task of framing my photo I decided to cover up the torn edges of the heart with my tiny Spiral Flowers and tiny leaves cut from the Leafy Branch 2. I couldn’t just have a couple of the tiny flowers so ended up placing twelve of them all the way around the frame. I really liked the way it looked when finished so the torn heart turned out to be a happy mistake. I finished the inside of the card with the Looped Heart Border.
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Happy Anniversary. Nice looking couple you are. Adorable card, there’s those adorable
little flowers again love em. Was just going to ask if you put something inside when you said what you used. Do you usually decorate your cards inside or do you just stamp a sentiment?
Those tiny flowers and tiny leaves took your card over the top Kittie. What a wonderful idea and thoughtful keepsake card.
I love that frame–so many lovely ideas floating in my head!
Happy Anniversary Kittie and Bob….what a lovely couple…bet Mr Bib is loving all of us woman seeing the other half of his most talented wife.
This turned out lovely….just love it when a mistake turns out to be a “happy one” as you said. That recently happened to me with a card…I liked it so much that I cut my others so in order to use the Washi tape.
Thank you, Kittie!!

Hugs, Eva.
