Good Saturday morning. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Fancy Cutout Border, Spiral Flowers, Large Bird on Branch, Grass Border, Small Grass Border and Sacred Space sentiment. I thought the branches would make perfect rose bushes growing up against the lattice background.
I used my magnetic platform to cut the border die three times to create my background. I attached the background to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape. I have stated this a few times but it bears repeating. That magnetic platform is a treasure to have if you need to make precise die cuts.
I cut three branches, lightly formed the leaves with my stylus and molding pad, cut them apart and attached them with glossy accents. I attached the grass border in front of the branches with glossy accents and then attached the small grass border with mounting tape. I attached the tiny roses to the branches with glossy accents.
I finished by stamping the sentiment with Versa and embossed with gold embossing powder. My mother and father would have loved this sentiment as they loved both flower gardens and vegetable gardens.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I sure am.

Beautiful card!
Good Morning, Kittie, A beautiful sentiment for a lovely garden. For any occasion. Simply gorgeous….have a good week-end
Love your card Kittie!!! Perfect!
Jan
Great background for your roses and love the sentiment embossed!
Kittie, such a peaceful, beautiful card, even if you did not have the “sacred” sentiment. It is sacred on its own and invites reflection. Have a lovely Easter and thanks for sharing this great card.
Beautiful simply Beautiful. Love the sentiment and those are my favorite little flowers. Sadly I bought the Magnetic platform excited because I thought it was going to work in the Ebosser and it doesnt or at least until I can figure out the sandwich. I know crafters experiment and find ways to do things but even though I posted on Splitcoast asking didnt get any bites. Anyone here know what plates I can use??? Craftwell havent tested the platform yet themselves. I so want to use it for that background.
Happy Easter!!!
Kittie, this card is serenely beautiful, it gives me a feeling of peace and calm. The verse is wonderful, I need that stamp. The background trellis is amazing and the roses, my favourite flower. Thank you for sharing this serene card today, I needed it’s calming effect. Have a blessed Easter.

OMGosh, what a beautiful scene. Those little flowers really pop with its deep red color.
Kittie, this is such a pretty card and I love the words on it….. such a beautiful card… I gotta learn how to do those roses…..lol. Thank you for sharing your creativity……
Kittie, when your feed comes to my e-mail, I know I’m going to be enthralled with an original “Kittie” scene. I love gardening and seeing your card makes me want to get out and play in my flowers. Unfortunately, I’ve lost nearly all my roses due to some pesty deer that think my bushes are their “salad bowls” . . . I only have a few bushes left. So, when I click on the link to your site, I’m excited to see your gorgeous gardens.
I feel as though I am actually standing in the garden and the sign is attached to the background. TFS another beauty!
