Good Monday morning. My project today is another made for the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges over at Splitcoaststampers. I got a lot of new Impression Obsession dies in the mail from Ellen’s this week and I just couldn’t wait to play with them. Have you seen the new Impression Obsession Summer Release? My project today is a fun camping scene made using the new Car and Camper. Keep and eye out for a future beach scene post with this because it also comes with a fun surf board die.
I built the scene around the car and camper using the Fir Tree Border, Fir Trees, Cloud Set, Small Bird Set and Grass Border.
I cut three fir tree borders, cut a couple of them apart and pieced them together to create the layers of tree. I crimped them and then attached all three layers to the card base with ATG adhesive. I cut the car and camper in red, and the window sections in green and the tires in black and assembled all the pieces with glossy accents. I attached the car and camper to the card base with mounting tape. I cut a grass border, cut it apart in small sections, attached the sections with ATG adhesive to the thin hand cut border layer and attached it in front of the camper and car with mounting tape.
I cut several clouds and a 3/4” circle for the sun and attached them to the sky area with mounting tape and rolled glue dots. I attached a few tiny white flowers made from 1/8” punched circles and a few red birds for the finishing touch.

This would be a perfect card for a man or boy or anyone who loves camping and nature. I had lots of fun with this. I just can’t seem to stop making scene cards. LOL!
