Splitcoaststampers Dare To Get Dirty Day 7

Good Friday morning. Today is day seven of the week long Dare To Get Dirty event over at Splitcoaststampers. It has been so much fun to see all the beautiful creations made by all the Fan Club members who participated in the special challenges.

My project today was made with the main focus on Bo-Vina,one of Anna Wight’s precious farm animal images. Since the little cow was all black and white I mounted her in front of a Gingham Texture background done in red and white and created a small scene with the My Favorite Things Woodgrain Fence and Fresh Cut Grass along with the Impression Obsession Grass Border, l Cloud Set, Small Bird Set , tiny Flowers and a few Leaves and Stems sprigs.

I stamped Bo-Vina with black versafine, colored her with Copic markers and cut her out using my snips. I stamped her head a second time, colored and cut out and popped it up rolled glue dots. I stamped the gingham background using red ink and my mega mount. I layered it with red and white and attached to the card base with mounting tape. I cut a thin red outer frame using my magnetic platform and nesting card templates and attached to the card base with thin strips of mounting tape.

I cut the fence and attached it to the gingham layer with mounting tape. I attached the grass border to the back of the fresh cut grass with ATG adhesive and attached it to the fence with mounting tape. I tucked the cow’s feet in the grass and attached her body to the fence with mounting tape. I attached a few leaf sprigs and flowers with glossy accents. I popped up a few tiny clouds in the sky with mounting tape to pull the eye up and break up all that gingham with the touches of white. I added few tiny red birds flying of in the sky and nestled on the fence and grass for the finishing touch.
