KC Impression Obsession Christmas Tags 1 side by side

My project today was made using the Christmas Tags, Christmas Icons, Evergreen Trees, Holly Flourish, Fir Sprig Set and Pine Sprig Cluster. I love it that the tags and sentiment are all one piece. All the tags are were fun to make and just require simple assembly.  I cut the bottom portion of all three dies in red and attached directly over the white to add colorful contrast.

I love snowmen and this one is so cute.  I colored his stick arms with a marker and cut a snip of orange cardstock for his nose.  I attached black cardstock behind the snowman to show through the eye and button openings. I wrapped a tiny piece of ribbon around the snowman’s neck and attached both ends at the neck with a glue dot. I hand cut the little snow ground section, attached it to the tag with a piece mounting tape, tucked the tree in behind and finished by attaching the snowman with mounting tape.

I cut the candle in red and cut the flame portion again in gold.  I cut off the red flame and attached the gold flame with glossy accents.  I attached the candle flat at the bottom with a glue dot and attached the portion with a small piece of mounting tape to add dimension. I trimmed the end of the fir and pine sprigs to shorten so they wouldn’t stick out too far.  I attached the sprigs with glossy accents to form an evergreen spray and finished by adding three 1/8” punched circles for holly berries.

I added a thin green strip across the top of the red section of the tag to create a more finished look.  I attached the bells to the tag with mounting tape.  I added a few sprigs of fir to crate an evergreen spray and added a sprig or two of the holly flourish.  I finished by adding a small red bow and a few holly berries made using the 1/8” circle punch

There are so many creative possibilities with these tags and the icon set. The gingerbread boy, Christmas tree, candy cane and ornaments would be precious on the tags as well.  I think these tags would make perfect Christmas gift sets to give to friends and family.  The addition of fir sprigs, pine sprigs, ribbon and even a little sparkle make these into a mini treasure.
