Good Tuesday morning. I have a silhouette nativity scene to share with you today with the Impression Obsession Manger set. I couldn’t resist creating the scene in all white against a bright red background. The next time I get to play with this set I want to try my hand at coloring the images.
I started by creating a frame around the outer boarder of the card front to pop up the barn structure so it wasn’t flat against the base. I attached the frame to the card base with strips of mounting tape.
I attached the barn directly to the frame with ATG adhesive. I applied mounting tape to Mary, Joseph and the star and attached them to the card base and frame to create the scene. This was really a fast and easy project and would be perfect for mass producing holiday cards. It took about ten minutes to assemble.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
Well Kittie, this is such a beautiful card… I love the simplicity of it…. The 2 colors and you know that I’m going to have to have this die…. just beautiful… thank you for sharing your creativity
This is such a LOVEly card. The colors are fantastic. The frame makes all of your cards very special. A couple of years ago I did a Nativity scene with black, for the silhouettes, on copper card stock. TFS the beauty.
Lovely….I see that you can use all these parts individually….I like that also…I like this in white…would only have done in black.
I also love when you add a frame, it truly makes a wonderful visual addition and with a simple one die design its beautiful. Love quick and easy sometimes too.
Good Afternoon, Kittie. A striking concept. Just the image, in these two colors speaks volumes. the message, and the season, simply done. I need to think of not always coloring. …thanks for inspiration
Oh Kittie, I love this Christmas card!
It’s really one with style……GORGEOUS!!
Hugs, Eva.
This looks neat, can’t wait to see you color it!
