Peace, Pine and Holly

Good Tuesday morning.  I have been enjoying playing with the holiday sentiment dies.  They are so perfect to create clean and simple cards.  My project today was made using the new Impression Obsession Peace die paired with the Pine Sprig Cluster, Holly Leaf Cluster and the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames.  I know I keep repeating myself saying this over and over but I just can’t seem to help it.  I love the crispness of the red and green against the all white background.

I started by apply masking tape to the back of the frames and attaching them to the card base.  I popped the sentiment up on the card base with rolled up 1/8” double stick tape

Attach the tape to a hard surface.

8

Roll up with your fingers to create a long thin string of adhesive.

9

Cut pieces with your snips

10

Attach the pieces to the back of your sentiment with tweezers.

I attached the holly and pine to the sentiment and frame base and added tiny red 1/8” punched circles for the berries.  I applied red stickles to the berries for a touch of holiday sparkle.

  3. Beautiful card but easy enough to mass produce. Love it. Thanks for the great tutorial about popping up delicate phrases using rolled double-stick tape. Really clever.
