Sugared Pine, Poinsettia and Holly

Good Tuesday morning.  I have a clean and simple holiday project to share with you today using images from the Tattered Lace Christmas Florals and Winter Florals.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is by Impression Obsession.

I started by cutting all the images out using white cardstock, coloring using distress inks and a mini applicator and assembled the pieces using glossy accents. I wanted to create shades of color on the images to give a more natural look but in the end I covered them with glitter so it isn’t noticeable.

I lightly applied Crafter’s Pick glue on the assembled images with my finger and sprinkled with crystal fine glitter. I created a clean and simple layout that would allow the pinecone, poinsettia and holly be the star of the card.  I liked the simple sentiment at the top.

  1. It just dawned on me that you use mostly white or cream card stock and use your inks to color many of the die cuts. That simplifys many of your supplies to do a card. I really love what you do. Your cards are so clean and beautiful….very inspiring.
