Good morning Tuesday morning. One of my favorite color combinations to use for flower projects is lavender, green and white. Lavender is such a feminine color. My project today was made using the Taylored Expressions Quatrefoil Cutting Plate, Creative Expressions Provence die set and the Memory Box Botanical Stem.
I cut the quatrefoil background and then used the largest of the two frame dies to cut the quatrefoil again so it would fit perfectly behind the frame. I cut the frame, attached double stick tape on the back and then attached the quatrefoil background. I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.
I cut three foliage stems and cut them apart to create the leaf base for the flowers. I attached the leaves around the card base with glossy accents. I created the flowers by using the negative cutouts from the quatrefoil by forming them with my stylus and molding pad. I attached the flowers to the card base with glossy accents. I finished by tucking in a few extra leaves to fill in the arrangement.
Before I close my post I wanted to show the article below showing three more of my projects being published in the January issue of the French Passion Cartes Creative craft magazine. Too bad I can't read French!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day.
