Impression Obsession Spring Designer Die Hop Day 3

Good Wednesday morning and welcome to day 3 of the Impression Obsession Design Team spring die hop.  Our team has some beautiful new die projects to share with you and Impression Obsession has Gift Certificates to give away. The hop will start on the Impression Obsession Design Team Blog.  Visit the team blogs and comment for a chance to win a $25 Impression Obsession gift certificate.

My project today was made using the Girl With Easter Basket, Ornate Rectangle Frame, Mini Bunnies, Leaves and Stems and Tiny Flowers

I die cut the frame and hand cut the small grass.   I attached the two layers of grass to the back of the frame and then attached the frame to the card base with rolled up double stick tape.  The bunnies were colored with distress inks and mini applicators.  The girl was colored with Copic markers and her dress was cut using a piece from the Penny Black Painted Blooms and attached to her body with double stick tape.  The flowers were cut and formed and attached to the stems with glossy accents.  The eggs were cut in four different colored cardstock and the basket trim was sketched in with a marker.

I attached the bunnies in the scene with mounting tape and then tucked the flowers and eggs in around them.  The girl was attached in the scene with mounting tape and she was finished with a tiny bow for dress and little flower on her ponytail.

Here’s a closer view of the scene.  I absolutely love those tiny bunnies looking up at the little girl.

  1. Oh, my…great card. The frame is so beautiful and the little girl, bunnies and flowers work very well together. I like the sash you added to the dress….reminds me of dresses my Mom made for me when I was a child…she put big sashes on almost all my dresses. She must have loved big bows like I do. Thanks for the inspiration.
