Good Sunday morning. I have a sweet baby card to share with you today welcoming a new baby. I chose to make this in all pink to welcome a baby girl. I used the Impression Obsession Clothesline stamp set and the coordinating Laundry die set paired with the Leafy Branch, Small Bird Set, Grass Border and Hollyhocks dies. The frame opening was made using the Nesting Frame 10.
I cut the opening in the card base and covered it with a matching frame attached with thin rolled up double stick tape. I sponged in a blue sky on the card base with an ink blending tool and tumbled glass ink. The grass and hollyhocks were attached to the backside of the frame opening with double stick tape and glossy accents. Thin strips of mounting tape were attached to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base. The leafy branches were attached in behind the frame with glossy accents.
The baby clothes were stamped on coordinating paper with white craft ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder and cut out using the coordinating dies and then I trimmed the edges of the clothes with my snips. The tiny clothes pins were cut using kraft cardstock and attached at the shoulders of each piece of clothing with glossy accents. I attached a thin string for the clothesline to each side of the frame with tiny dots of glossy accents. The clothes were attached to the card base with mounting tape. The three birds were added for one more sweet element for the finishing touch.
