Impression Obsession “Happy Birthday to You” Challenge

Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession”Happy Birthday to You” design team challenge. I love the Best Day Ever sentiment and think it pairs perfectly with the Balloon Block and Candle Border for a fun and festive birthday card.

I cut the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames and attached the two largest frames together with double stick tape.  I cut the candle border using white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.  I applied Cosmic Shimmer glue to the flames and dipped them in glitter to add a touch of sparkle.  When they were dry I attached them to the back of the frame.  I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached it to the card base.

I applied rolled up strips of double stick tape to the back of the Best Day Ever sentiment and attached it to the card base.  I cut the balloons in both colors, applied glue and dipped them in glitter and allowed them to dry.  I finished by attaching the balloons to the top corners of the frame with mounting tape..

  1. That’s a happy card if I ever saw one! I have a question about another card though. I love the little white house on the pink background in your header for the blog. I have looked several places to see how it was done or to get a bit of info for it but I can’t find it in your listings. Can you help me, please. I have admired your work for a long time. Your style seems to be evolving. I guess that is what it is supposed to do, huh? Means you are growing.
    thanks
