Tulip Framed Bunny

Good Saturday morning.  I have collected several of the Art Impressions sets being offered at Ellen’s and have had fun playing with my brushes and markers. My project today was made using the Blessings to You set and was created to use on a mini trifold card.  I only used two of the three layering images for my scene because I wanted the bunny to be more prominent.

I applied ink to the images with Distress Markers, lightly misted with my mini mister and stamped the image on watercolor paper.  I placed the small frame die on the tulip image layer, attached in place with tape and cut out the opening. I used a damp brush to pull the colors away from the stamped lines to fill the images.  I went back over some of the lines that faded with markers to add definition back to the images.  I added back color with the brush tip of my markers to some of the leaves and tulips and blended with a damp brush. I sponged in a little blue ink around the tulips and bunny using my Color Box stylus and foam tip.

I attached the bunny and green layer to the back side of the tulip layer with mounting tape.  I applied another layer of mounting tape to the back of the green layer and attached to the purple card base.  I thought about adding embellishments of some kind but decided it is cute just the way it is.
