Good Saturday afternoon. I have a fast and fun Christmas tag to share with you today made using Essentials by Ellen Fat Pants Stamps, Fat Pants Die Set , Lawn Fawn Santa’s Belly and Poppystamps Pinpoint Main Street Tags.
I started by stamping the eyes using black versafine and the nose and cheeks using a red marker on the die cut circle. I stamped the lips on the Santa beard using the red marker. I used white pigment ink to stamp the image across the front of the hat and used a brush to paint white pigment reinker on the ball of the cap and applied white embossing powder to heat emboss. I assembled the parts together and attached with glue dots. Once I got the Santa head finished I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do with him but finally decided it would look cute on a tag. I cut a white tag and red tag matching frame. I attached the black band, gold belt buckle and buttons to the tag with glue dots and then attached the frame to the tag base with thin strips of mounting tape. The Santa head was attached to the tag with mounting tape. I thought the black gingham ribbon was the perfect finish to the tag.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
