Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Quick Christmas Cards” challenge. During the holidays we get a little pressed for time and need to make extra cards to have on hand. The Christmas Word Collage is a perfect die to use for quick cards or for mass producing. I added a few pieces of Pine Sprig, Holly Flourish and a little bow to embellish but the word collage looks great all by itself.
I cut a white A2 base card and attached a red 5.25” x 4.00” piece to the base using mounting tape for a touch of dimension. I applied 1/8” double stick tape to the back of the word collage and attached it to the red layer.
Initially I wanted to add a couple sprigs of holly and a tiny bow to embellish the simple card front but I got a little carried away and added holly, pine and a multi loop bow. If I had it to do over again I would have left all of it off. Next time! LOL! With our without the pine, holly and bow this card only took a few minutes to make.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
Kittie Caracciolo (that’s me)
Card size: 5.50” x 4.25”
Amazing card, Kittie!! I love the stark white word collage die on the deep, gorgeous red…so striking! And the die cut ‘bouquet’ of pine sprig is the perfect embellishment.
what a card design full of holiday spirit. I love it!
