Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Think Pink” Challenge. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Floral Background, Branch, and Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames. The green scalloped background layer was made using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.
The floral background was trimmed on all four sides to fit behind the scalloped frame and was attached to the frame using double stick tape. The frame and background were then attached to the green scalloped layer using thin strips of mounting tape. I then applied strips of mounting tape to the green layer and attached it to the card base. I cut a green strip of cardstock that fit right inside the pink framed border and attached with double stick tape. I used this strip as the base to secure the leaves and bow.
I cut two branch sections, cut them apart to use the individual leaves and lightly formed the leaves using my stylus and molding pad. I applied the base of leaves to the green layer using glossy accents and attached the multi loop bow using glue dots. Once the bow was attached to the leaves I tucked a couple more in behind the bow to fill in the arrangement.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge.
