Gift Bag Card and Ellen Hutson Die Sale

Good Saturday afternoon.  I have been home from work sick most of this past week and this is the first day that I have felt like playing.  I’ve had the Waffle Flower Gift Bag Die set for a while but haven’t had the chance to play with it.  I intended to create a gift bag today but ended up placing the gift bag on a card front instead.  I framed the bag with the My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames and Pierced Rectangle Frames . The flowers from the set were arranged with the Impression Obsession Leaves and Stems and the sentiment is from the Essentials by Ellen Lovely set.

I attached the two frames together using double stick tape and then attached to the card base with strips of mounting tape.  The gift bag was attached to the card base with mounting tape. I formed the flowers using my stylus and molding pad and attached the sections together using glossy accents.

The stems and flowers were arranged and attached using glossy accents.  The sentiment layer was stamped using Dusty Concord ink and it was was attached on both sides of the frame with double stick tape.  The layer slightly curves out in front of the gift bag but it is hard to see in the photo.  I added one more tiny flower and foliage to the sentiment to finish.

  1. Good Afternoon, Kittie, Now that is different. I love the idea. and the color purple is super. a great gift idea. What do you think of putting the same gift bag inside without the flowers and stuff a bar of chocolate or coffee bag to appear inside an ready to detach ? an added treat with card….I love this creation……have a good week-end…..Hugs
