Good Sunday morning. I have a Belleek Inspired project to share with you today made using the new Essentials by Ellen Rustic Botanicals Die Set, Impression Obsession Ornament Flourish , Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and Taylored Expressions Damask Embossing Folder. Check out my Belleek Inspired step by step tutorial if you would like to know more about how I made this background.
I used a brayer to apply ink to the front inside of the embossing folder, inserted the cardstock and ran through my Big Shot. This technique creates such a beautiful background and is perfect to use with s simple floral arrangement like I created today. I showed a few step by step photos on how I cut in the petals of the flower to create more dimension on my Sparkly Rustic Botanicals project this past week. I let the Ornament Flourish set play double duty today by using just the pretty flourish sections of the set to embellish the flower and leaves.
The embossed layer was attached to the card base using ATG adhesive. The scalloped frame was attached using thin strips of mounting tape. The flower, leaves and flourish pieces were all attached using glossy accents. I finished the flower with a tiny white pearl in the center. This was a very fast and easy project to make yet it looks like it was lots more involved. Shhhh! You don’t have to share that information with the card recipient.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great Sunday.
