Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Haunted Greetings” design team challenge. I’m not so fond of spooky or scary Halloween projects so I tend to stick with things that are more on the fun and cute side. I decided to do something a little different today and made the majority of my project black and white. My card was made using the Square Tree Window, Boo and Mini Bats. The designer paper in the background is Essentials by Ellen Modern Graphics.
I started by attaching the designer paper to the card base using ATG adhesive. I then attached mounting tape to the back of the tree window frame and attached it to the card base. I die cut the Boo and accessories in black, white and orange so I could layer them to create a shadow of color so they would show up better on the black and white background. I attached the ghost, cat and witch hat to the colored background piece with glossy accents.
The Boo sentiment was attached to the frame with pieces of mounting tape. The hat, cat and ghost were attached to the Boo with pieces of mounting tape. I finished by adding a few white bats to the frame for a white contrast against the black frame.
Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge and see a complete list of our team payers go to the Impression Obsession Blog. You’ll see all the details there! A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog.

Very cute card. I agree with you…I don’t do really spooky cards for Halloween. Some I see on blogs are demented looking…LOL Definitely not my style, but, to each his own. LOL
