Good Monday afternoon. My project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple challenge to use a Zig Zag pattern of some kind on our project. I chose to create a clean and simple background using the Impression Obsession Chevron Adapt-a-Background paired with the larger deer from the Deer and Doe set, pine sprigs from the Wreath Builder set and the star from the Bare Christmas Tree set. I love making simple scenes like this that allows a few simple images like the deer looking up to the star in the sky to tell the “story” without words.
I started by cutting the blue background layer and attached it to the card base with mounting tape. I cut a small portion of the die in white and attached it to the blue with mounting tape.
I applied the pine and red berries to the deer with gloss6 accents and then attached it to the scene using mounting tape on the body and glue dots on the feet. I applied red stickles to the berries to add a touch of sparkle and finished the scene with the small gold star in the sky.
Thank you for coming by today. I hope you have a great week.
