Good Sunday morning. It’s been a while since I have been able to post regularly due to having eye surgery a couple of weeks ago . I am happy to say I am doing really well and it was great to get back to my craft room this weekend. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Santa Moon, Snowfall, Deer Pair and Wreath Builder. I wanted to create a basically white card with the Santa and reindeer silhouette in the background. When I got ready to put something in the foreground I couldn't ‘t quite figure out what I wanted to use. I finally decided to add the two white deer with just the touches of green and red. They were in the foreground but didn’t take away from Santa and the big moon.
I cut the Santa Moon out of the snowfall background and cut again in black. I layered the white snowfall over a black background to show off the snow. I layered the opening over the yellow to create the moon. O handcut two snow sections with my deckle scissors and attached to the lower portion of the scene.
I created a double matted frame and attached it to the scene using mounting tape. I applied the holly and red berries to the deer with glossy accents and attached them in the scene with mounting tape. The three additional reindeer were attached to the snowfall and frame using mounting tape. I finished by adding touches of red stickles to the berries for a touch of sparkle.
Thanks so much for coming by and I hope you have a great Sunday.
