One of my favorite techniques is to create a die cut floral spray on a clean and simple card design. My project today was made using the Rubbernecker 3032 Best Friends Stamp Set, 5141D Nesting Rectangle Scallop w/ Holes, 5100-01D Small Flower, 5110D Small Leaf Group, 5100-08 Small Butterfly and 5114D Mini Flower Stack. The flower, leaves, butterfly and tiny flowers are all included in the Kittie Kraft Basics bundle.
Modify Rectangle into Square
My card base is 6″ x 6″ square and the scalloped layer is 5.30″ x 4.10″. I love the scalloped border of the rectangle die and wanted to use it to fill space on the card front. I cut it in half, applied mounting tape to the back of each half and attached them to the upper and lower sections of the card base. I stamped the sentiment on the white layer using Midnight ink and attached the layer directly over the scalloped layers to hide the gap between the two sections.
Forming and Assembling the Flowers
The larger flower section were formed using the large stylus tip from my Garden Tool Kit and molding pad. I used a green flower section to act as the base of the flower and attached two blue flower sections to the green base using glossy accents. The tiny flowers were formed using the smallest stylus tip and molding pad.
Arrange the Die Cut Floral Spray
The leaves were gently curved and formed using my fingers. I attached a few of the larger leaf sections to the sentiment layer using glossy accents to create the base of the floral spray. The large flower was attached using glossy accents and then I tucked several smaller leaf sections under the flower and attached with glossy accents. I attached the tiny flowers to the foliage using glossy accents to complete the floral spray. The tiny butterflies were attached to the sentiment layer using glossy accents. I attached pre made white Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers and butterflies with glossy accents for the finishing touch.
I appreciate you coming by today and taking a look at my card. I hope you have been inspired to think of new creative ways to transform the dies you have and to create your own die cut floral spray project.

Totally love this card! Brilliant way to change a rectangle to a square ♡ and adoring the floral spray. I often wish I’d worked in a florist shop to learn flower arranging and make beautiful bouquets. Your work is spectacular.
