All of the new “Garden Dies” and the full May release are on sale that ends this Thursday. Rubbernecker will be announcing the release and sale tomorrow but are letting me give my blog followers a little head start. Hurry on over to check it out.
The Scene Background
I applied double stick tape to the back of the tree frame and attached it to the card base. I usually love to attach frames with mounting tape but I wanted the branches of the tree to be flat so I could build dimension with the garden images. Next I attached the fence sections and grass sections to the card base with mounting tape.
Coloring the Images
I cut the flower pots using yellow cardstock and colored them using Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo inks and mini applicators. I cut the wheelbarrow and bucket using gray cardstock and colored it using the same three inks. I colored the wheel using a black Copic marker. I cut the cats using white cardstock and colored them using Antique Linen and Vintage Photo inks and mini applicators.
Assembling the Scene
I formed the tiny flowers using my stylus and molding pad and attached them to the flower stems using glossy accents. I arranged and attached the stems to the back of the pots using glossy accents. I placed the wheelbarrow and pots in the scene in front of the fence sections and attached with mounting tape. I tucked the flower pots and bucket in behind the grass and attached with mounting tape. I attached tiny flowers to the tree branches using glossy accents. I added the two kitty cats to the scene for a fun finishing touch.
Do you love creating scene cards. I had so much fun using all these new Rubbernecker outdoor garden dies to create projects while I worked at the Orlando Scrapbook Expo this past weekend. Thanks so much to all of you that came by to meet me. I had such a wonderful time.

Morning Kittie,
What a sweet card. Love the idea behind the card…. and look at your kitty’s…. Thank you for sharing your creativity….
So nice to meet you at the Expo and will be sharing all the dies I bought at your booth with my friends this evening at our weekly meeting and scrap. I think I spent more at your booth than any of the others, except maybe for Craft Fancy where I worked. Next time Charlie is down I will have to ask him if he has a cousin Bob? LOL Small world.
