I have a pretty die cut flower pot scene card to share with you today using several of the new Rubbernecker Stamps garden and frame dies from their new May release. I have really enjoyed using spring colors for my projects over the last few weeks and especially love the fresh look of the Bazzill Card Shoppe Robin’s Egg, Cotton Candy pink and Easter Grass green. I thought the white frame and fence was the perfect way to highlight the whole scene.
Die Cut Flower Pot
I cut the flower pot using Sour Lemon cardstock and applied Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo ink using a mini applicator. The yellow cardstock helps create the lighter background beneath the shades of ink to create the appearance of terracotta.
The Flowers and Stems
I used my stylus and molding pad to form all the tiny flowers. I attached the flowers to the individual stems using glossy accents and then attached them to the back of the die cut flower pot using glossy accents. I created a few extra flower stems to use in the scene.
The Fence and Frame
I applied the grass die cut to the back of frame using double stick tape. I applied strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame, attached the fence behind the grass and then attached it to the Robin’s Egg layer. The flower pot filled was tucked in behind the grass and attached to the fence using mounting tape.
Completing the Card
The pierced rectangle was attached to the card base using double stick tape. The framed scene was attached to the decorative white rectangle frame using double stick tape and was then attached to the pierced rectangle card base with mounting tape. I added the tiny pink butterflies for the finishing touch.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope I have inspired you to pull out your die cut flower pot, flowers and stems to create your own pretty garden scene.
