My project today is a die cut flower arrangement using Rubbernecker Stamps 5131D Square Combo #1 OPC Die, 5118D Leaf Group, 5114D Mini Flower Stack, 5147-10D Tiny Flower Buds and 5147-15D Pots w/ Scallops. I like how the blue and white layered frames highlight the pink flowers.
Die Cut Flower Arrangement
I formed the flowers using my stylus and molding pad. These flowers have a small center hole so I applied glossy accents to the back of each flower and attached a tiny flower bud to fill in and create the white flower center. I cut the leaf group die three times, cut the branches apart and attached them to the back of the flower pot. using glossy accents. I started with the shorter branches first and worked my way back attaching the taller branches. I attached a couple shorter branch sections facing down to create a softer design. I randomly attached the flowers using glossy accents until the arrangement was completed.
The Frame
I cut the frame using pink and again using blue, attached the white sections together from the back using double stick tape and then attached the blue layer over the white using double stick tape. I liked the raised look of the blue mat. I attached the frames to the pink layer using mounting tape and attached it to the card base using mounting tape. I attached the flower arrangement to the card base using mounting tape. I thought the design needed something more so I finished by adding a few branches and flowers to the base of the pot.
I think this die cut flower arrangement would be perfect for a birthday, get well, thinking of you or any other occasion. Who doesn’t love receiving flowers!! Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.
