My project today is a monochromatic die cut sailboat frame scene made using the Impression Obsession Sailboat Frame paired with the All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2.
The Cloudy Background
I began by applying Impression Obsession Seafoam Ink to the white background using an ink blending tool and the Inky Antics cloud stencil. I am especially happy with how well the Seafoam ink matches the Bazzill Robin’s Egg cardstock.
Die Cut Sailboat Frame Scene
I applied white embossing paste to the waves sections of the Sailboat Frame by dabbing it on with my finger and then sprinkled it with clear glitter to make it sparkle. Next, I applied double stick tape to the back of the front frame and attached the Sailboat Frame to it. I applied thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the frames and attached it to the cloud layer. I finished the card by apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the cloud and frame layers and attached it to the white card base.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you are having a great week. I love the serene feel to this scene and how pretty the sails look against the cloudy sky background. Do you have this new die or something similar that you can pull out to create your own monochromatic die cut sailboat frame scene?

I really like this one done in the monochromatic. The clouds behind and the glittering sea…you can almost hear the gulls and waves!
