I have a bright die cut sea life project to share with you today made using the newly released Impression Obsession Sea Life Frame paired with the All-in-One Frames Rectangle 2.
Coloring the Fish
I cut the fish using yellow, dark pink and green cardstock and colored them using mini applicators and several of the Impression Obsession ink colors. These inks work great when applying color on cardstock with the mini applicators. I made sure to dab the applicator off on scrap paper before applying the ink directly on the fish. The inks blended beautifully.
Die Cut Sea Life Frame
I began by cutting the Sea Life Frame a couple times so I could have extra foliage. I wanted to create a smaller framed area for the fish so I chose to two of the smaller frames in the set. I applied double stick tape to the back of the frame and attached one layer of foliage to both the top and bottom. I applied a second layer of double stick tape and applied a second layer of foliage by offsetting it to fill in and make both areas fuller. I applied a small sheet of acetate to the back of the frame to create a clear layer for the scene. I attached two fish directly to the blue card base using glossy accents. I attached the Sea Life Frame to the card base using thin strips of mounting tape. The four main fish in the scene were attached to the foliage and acetate using pieces of mounting tape. I finished the card by attaching the largest frame directly to the card base using double stick tape. I like how the yellow and aqua cardstock enhance the scene and show off the fish.
Thank you for coming by today and I hope you have a great week. I had lots of fun making this card using the die cut sea life images and I hope you have been inspired to create an underwater scene of your own.

Kittie, this is SO COOL! LOL It looks like the fish are swimming in & out of your little scene, with their tails overlapping the frames! SUPER JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉
Gorgeous….I truly get an “underwater” feel…the fish have so much depth….and look like they are swimming…as always…well done my friend…
