My project today is a die cut tag and flower with a sentiment. I think we tend to think that tags are just for Christmas presents but they can really be made for gifts of any occasion. I think this feminine tag in pink, white and green would be perfect for a graduation, birthday or promotion. Any occasion that you want to convey a best wishes message or any kind of sentiment that you wish.
The Tag
This tag was really fast and easy to make. I cut the two largest sizes, secured the the white tag in my MISTI and stamped the sentiment using black Versafine ink.
The Flower and Foliage
I cut the flower sections and formed them using my stylus and molding pad. I attached the layers together using glossy accents. Note that I cut the largest flower layer in green to create a foliage base for the flower. I cut the foliage pieces and gently rolled the leaves with my fingers.
Assembling the Die Cut Tag and Flower
I attached the two tags together using ATG adhesive. I attached the flower to the tag using glossy accents. Then I tucked the foliage pieces under and around the flower an attached using glossy accents. I added a pre made white Nuvo Crystal Drop to the center of the flower and added a pink knot of ribbon to the tag for the finishing touch.
Thank you so much for coming by and I hope you have been inspired to pull out your die cut tag and flower dies and sentiment sets to create your own “Birthday Wish”, “Congratulations” or even a “Thinking of You” tag.

Good Morning, Kittie. a beautiful tag, one to keep ready for giving, I love tags they can say so much. beautiful flower too….have a good day……hugs
WHAT A LOVELY tag, Kittie! It will look SO NICE on whatever you add it to! 😉 AND it will be TREASURED! 😉
This is gorgeous! What a statement it makes. I am wondering what you use the dremel for? I see it listed in the array of items you used for this tag but I can’t quite figure that out.
Thanks for asking about the Dremel. I keep it in my listing of tools all the time as it is something I use quite often. It is a great tool to file down the pointed sharp spots left on dies when you cut them apart. I found hand filing them very difficult and the Dremel makes very quick work smoothing out those sharp edges. I hope this helps.
Kittie, What a gorgeous card…. I love the soft feel to the tag…. And again, a gorgeous flower! Thank you for sharing your creativity….
Gorgeous, love the layering on the tag and on the flower!
