I have a pretty framed tiny paper flowers card to share with you today that I made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge. The challenge this week was to use plaid. I dug through all my designer pads and finally settled on this bright and cheerful paper. Since the paper is so busy I decided to layer it on a white card base and to use a white frame. I already had the Rubbernecker Tree Panel on my desk so I cut the branches off and paired it with the tiny flowers from the Flower Buds die. The frame was made using the smaller frames from the Rectangle Combo die.
The Plaid Layer and Frame
I cut rectangle pieces of white card stock and plaid paper to 4.5 x 3.75″ and attached them together using ATG adhesive. I used double stick tape to attach the two frame sections together. Mounting tape was attached to the back of the plaid layer and the frame and then both were attached to the card base.
Framed Tiny Paper Flowers
I secured several branches to the card base using glossy accents to create the spray. I created a multi loop white bow and attached it to the foliage and card base using glue dots. I cut the bright pink flowers, formed them using my tiny tipped stylus and molding pad and attached them to the foliage with glossy accents. Check out my multi loop bow video tutorial over on YouTube if you would like to see how I make my bows.
My framed tiny paper flowers card was really fast and easy to make and I think it is striking with the bright pink and green against the white. I really appreciate you coming by today. I hope you are enjoying a good week and that you can some time to get crafty.
