Spellbinders New Collections Blog Hop

September-Blog-Hop-Version-2-Blog-1080x1920I have a few projects to share with you today that I made for the Spellbinders New Collections Blog Hop.  There are several very talented designers sharing projects today using stamps and dies from the four new collections.  My projects were all made using dies from Becca Feeken’s A Charming Christmas collection.

My first set of projects were made using the Shapeabilities Charming Round Tag.  The possibilities are endless with all the dies that come in this sweet set.  I especially love making tags with a country Christmas feel so I embellished mine with gingham bows and sprigs of evergreen.

Come check out my set of round tag made using the newly releaesed Spellbinders holiday set.

Mittens Tag

The tag was cut once in white and again in red.  I used one of the decorative insert dies to cut openings out of the top and bottom portion of the red die and then attached it over the white using double stick tape.  The mittens were attached together with glue dots and then attached to the top of the tag with glossy accents.  I attached a gold ornament topper and evergreen sprigs using glossy accents and then attached a multi loop gingham bow with glue dots to finish.

Come check out my round Mittens tag made using the newly releaesed Spellbinders holiday set.

Deer Tag

The tag was cut once in red and again in white.  used one of the decorative insert dies to cut openings out of the top and bottom portion of the white tag and then attached it over the red tag using double stick tape.  The deer charm was colored using mini applicators and Antique Linen and Vintage Photo inks.  It was attached to the tag using pieces of mounting tape.  I attached a gold ornament topper and evergreen sprigs using glossy accents and then attached a multi loop gingham bow with glue dots to finish.

Joy Tag

The tag was cut once in white and again in red.  I used one of the decorative insert dies and Joy sentiment insert die to cut openings out of the top and bottom portion of the red die and then attached it over the white using double stick tape.  I attached the gold ornament topper to the ornament using glossy accents.  The evergreen sprigs were attached to the center of the tag using glossy accents and then I finished it by attaching the bow using glue dots.

The Angel Ornament Card

The Tallulah frame was cut in white and was attached to the red card base with pieces of mounting tape. I cut the two angel sections using white cardstock.  Both angel pieces have slits that allow them to fit together to create a dimensional ornament.  I secured the front angel wings to the back wings using small piece of mounting tape.  Next,  I applied pieces of mounting tape to the back of the angel ornament and attached it to the card base.  I ran a piece of gold metallic string through the angel topper and then attached it to the frame using glue dots.  I continued the country Christmas theme with the evergreen branches and multi loop bow to finish the angel card.

Come see how I made this elegant yet homey feeling angel ornament card from the new Spellbinders holiday release.

You should have arrived here from Hussena’s blog and your next top along the hop path will be at Lin’s blog post.  I sure hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects for the Spellbinders New Collections Blog Hop and I am sure you will love seeing all the projects along the blog path.  You can see prize information on the Spellbinders blog.  Thanks so much for coming by.

  2. So festive and pretty for the holidays! Great designs to pretty up gifts and treats.
They are all very nice dies. But Its really the little extra touches that you include that take them to the next level like the embellishments, the inking and layers. That and your eye for detail and perfection. My creations always seem to have a little dab of glue seeping from somewhere or something askew. I guess that’s what makes them feel handcrafted! lol
Thank you for always inspiring and sharing your beautiful work! 🙂
