Good Wednesday morning. Today I’m joining forces with 40 paper crafting designers to celebrate the 10th year birth of Taylored Expressions business. You can find all the information about this fun celebration and the full list of designers on the Taylored Expressions blog post. Taylor’s September release is full of fun birthday stamp and die sets and you can find the complete release listed here.
I had lots of fun creating this tropical scene using the Build a Scene Tropical Die Set and Tropical Trio Stamp and Die Set. I loved using all the different foliage and palm tree dies to create the base of the scene. The flamingos were fun to feature in the scene along with the “Happy Bird-Day” sentiment place on the sun.
I have enjoyed using Taylor’s products for years. When I began writing my post I decided to go and check out my Taylored Expressions category and found 54 projects using her products over the years. There are way too many TE projects for me to share on my blog today so I decided to share two that I made when I was a guest designer on Taylor’s blog.
I loved creating this fun shade tree window scene for one of my guest designer posts. I created a see thru window and modified the Shade Tree cutting plate by removing the frame and trimming the leaves. I knew the window scene would not be complete without a few flower pots and a garden of flowers around the base of the tree and window.
I had a wonderful time making this fall project for another of my guest designer appearances on Taylor’s blog. I’m sure you’ll agree with me that Taylor creates the most wonderful cutting plates. I have so many of them in my stash and I can’t even imagine trying to pick a favorite. This project was made using several different die sets and I love the outcome.
Share Joy Campaign
At the heart of Taylored Expressions is a mission to share joy through the gift of handmade cards. As part of their 10th birthday TE is continuing that mission with the launch of a special Share Joy campaign focused on providing birthday cards to those in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities across the U.S. To make as deep an impact as possible TE is inviting card makers everywhere to join the campaign. Will you join us? Find out how to participate by viewing their Share Joy page here: https://tayloredexpressions.com/share-joy.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my Taylored Expressions project and I know you will love hopping over to the TE blog to see the complete list of designers taking place in this wonderful family reunion to celebrate Taylor and her business.
