Good Thursday morning. I have a pretty die cut lamp post garden scene to share with you today using dies by Rubbernecker Stamps. Before I start my post description I want to let you know I will be working with Rubbernecker Stamps this weekend at the Rubber Stamp Events in Mesa, Arizona. If you are attending I hope you will come by and say hello. I would love to meet you.
I made a pretty Christmas scene card a few weeks ago using several of the same dies and color combination as my project today and another garden scene card using purple. You can see them both below. For this project I used the Lamp Post, Borders #3, Knob Top Fence, Small Ivy, Tiny Flower Buds, Grass and Small Birds.
Decorative Border, Fence and Grass
- Cut the border using white cardstock.
- Apply double stick tape to the back of the white layer and attach it to the red card base.
- Cut 2 sections of the fence using black cardstock.
- Apply glossy accents to the front left fence section and attach the tall fence post. Repeat this step on the right fence section.
- Apply mounting tape to the back of the fence section and attach to the card base.
- Cut a grass section using green cardstock.
- Apply thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the fence and attach to the card base.
Lamp Post, Hanging Basket and Flower Borders
- Cut the lamp post and hanging basket using black cardstock.
- Apply thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the lamp post, tuck it behind the fence and grass and attach to the card base.
- Cut a couple sections of tiny red flowers and form them using a tiny tipped stylus and molding pad.
- Cut several sections of small ivy.
- Tuck small ivy pieces in behind the grass on both sides and attach using glossy accents.
- Attach the tiny flower buds to the ivy using glossy accents.
- Arrange small ivy sections to the hanging basket and attach using glossy accents.
- Attach the tiny flower buds to the ivy using glossy accents to fill in the basket arrangement.
- Cut the small birds using red cardstock, apply black ink to the beaks and attach them to the card base.
You can click on the cards below to hop over to see the posts and descriptions.
Thanks so much for coming by today and I hope you have enjoyed seeing my die cut lamp post garden scene card.
