Good morning and welcome to my Throw Back Thursday Old Truck Winter Scenes post. I’ve been paper crafting for a long time and have watched the stamped image trends come and go over the years. But there are some that I’ve collected that are timeless and that I will always keep in my collection. One of my all time favorite images is the Rubbernecker Old Truck. I especially have a soft spot for this truck image as it was originally released several years ago in one of my Kittie Kits “Cause a Scene” sets. My first project today is a throw back to October 10, 2011. My second post is a throw back to January 5, 2018. You can click on the highlighted texts to hop over to the original posts.
The trucks for both projects were stamped with a black pigment ink and painted using distress reinkers. Both were stamped twice and cut out with the bodies layered over the tire sections to create dimension. The snow on the red truck scene was created using Polar White Flower Soft and Cosmic Glitter Glue. The snow on the rusty blue truck scene was crested using White Embossing Paste. I think both the Flower Soft and White Embossing Paste created a lovely dimensional snowy appearance.
I hope you have enjoyed my Throw Back Thursday Old Truck Winter Scenes projects. I had so much fun making them. You can click on the the links in the first paragraph to see the original posts with the full descriptions of how I created the scenes. Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.
