I have been having so much fun making projects using these die cut flower vases. The Vases and Shelves, Leaves and Greenery and Small Flowers #3 are all from the new Rubbernecker March die release. I paired the new dies with the Tiny Flower Buds, Small Butterflies, Nested Scallop with Holes and a simple Hello sentiment from my new “Kittie Says” Phrases #1 set.
The Vases, Foliage and Flowers
- Cut the vases using three different colored cardstock and the shelf using aqua cardstock. Note: I applied black Nuvo Crystal drops to one of the vases to create interest with a pattern.
- Use the same colored cardstock to cut the flowers and green cardstock to cut the foliage.
- Attach the foliage to the back of each vase using glossy accents.
- Form the flowers using a small tipped stylus and molding pad and attach the multi layer flowers together using glossy accents.
- Attach the flowers to the foliage using glossy accents.
The Card Base and Sentiment
- Use white cardstock to cut the decorative layer and aqua cardstock to cut the background layer.
- Stamp the hello sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
- Attach the aqua layer to the white card base using ATG adhesive.
- Apply strips of mounting tape to the back of the white eyelet layer and attach to the aqua layer.
Finish the Card
- Apply a strip of mounting tape to the back of the shelf and attach it to the card base.
- Use mounting tape to attach the three vases to the card base.
- Cut the small butterflies using aqua cardstock and attach them to the card base using glossy accents.
- Finish by applying pre made white Nuvo Crystal Drops to the butterflies and the large flower. Use gold pre made Nuvo Crystal Drops to fill in the centers of the small flowers.
Have you had the chance to take a look at my new “Kittie Says” Phrases #1 set? Sentiments that are short and sweet work best on my style of cards. l put together this list of all occasion sentiments and worked with Rubbernecker to get them made into a lovely clear stamp set. We chose a few different fonts that were pretty, easy to read and we made the words small enough to easily fit on card fronts.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my die cut flower vases card. It’s clean and simple and yet packs a big punch with those sweet dimensional vases of flowers. The butterflies are the perfect touch to fill on some white space and add interest. There is lots more inspiration for you to see on this Pinterest link. Thank you for coming by and I hope you have a great weekend.
