New Paper Pads From Rubbernecker!!

I am so excited to share a peek at the new Paper Pads from Rubbernecker!

Yes, you read that correctly! If you are a fan of using patterned paper on your handmade cards, you are going to FLIP for the new Paper Pads from Rubbernecker! They are starting with just three that are perfect for our current season and a little birdie tells me there are more coming so you will want to stay tuned.

These were tested at a couple of the shows and oh-boy!  People went bananas, pineapple and coconuts over these and Rubbernecker has already had to up their orders to make sure there are plenty to go around. They are available for sale online today and when I tell you they are fabulous, they. are. FABULOUS!

Here are the things I am loving about these Paper Pads.

First, they are printed on 80# weight paper. For those of you not familiar with what this number means, these perfectly scaled designs are printed on paper that is very close to the weight of card stock. This means that you can die cut these pretty papers and they will hold up beautifully as well as serve as nice crisp sturdy layers on a project.

Now that does mean that these papers have a white core but that’s a very small price to pay for quality printed patterned paper. I don’t know about you but those flimsy papers drive me crazy with how they fray, wrinkle and heavens forbid you try using liquid or extra sticky adhesive! You won’t have any issues with these papers!

Here’s a peek at some projects I made with the Autumn Leaves 6 x 6 Paper Pad:

Here’s a peek at the cover which shows you all the designs inside:

The second thing I love about these Paper Pads are they are all double sided! And Rubbernecker made sure many of the patterns and solids that would work together beautifully are on the back sides of OTHER designs, not each other. SO smart – there’s nothing worse than running out of a solid you love because it’s on the back of the pattern you want to use.

There are 24 sheets of 6 X 6 paper in each of the Paper Pads with two of each design. There are so many creative opportunities in each of these Paper Pads and at just $7.95 each that’s just about 30 cents a sheet. Most other patterned papers are either about the same or more and are NOT even close to card stock weight, aren’t always scaled for card making and aren’t precut for this handy size that is ideal for cards.

Here are some projects I created using the Spook-Tacular 6 x 6 Paper Pad:

Here’s a peek at the cover for this paper pad – do you not LOVE this color combination?

Third, and I mentioned this above, the scale of the patterns on these papers are perfectly suited for card making. I know I have stacks and stacks of papers that were part of a collection that I cannot use on cards. Many paper assortments are still created with all kinds of papercrafters in mind so while there might be one or two designs you can use, the rest of the designs are more appropriate for scrapbooking or 3D paper art, making some of what you just bought not usable. Bummer!

ALL the designs in these new paper packs from Rubbernecker were specifically chosen, sized, scaled and repeated to give you gorgeous edge to edge details on your cards.

Check out these ADORABLE designs in from the Ho-Ho-Ho 6 x 6 Paper Pad:

I’ve included the stamps, dies and those new Paper Pads from Rubbernecker here so if there’s a card above that you know you just HAVE to make, you can order what you need and then, when I feature each of these projects in their own post – with all the directions, of course – you will have what you need on your table to get started.

  2. Hi Kittie–I notice that each of these pads say “By Kittie Kraft”. Did you also design these papers? They’re beautiful, and I’m so glad they’re 80lb. And I’m so happy to see that they are made in the USA.
