Will I See You in Orlando?

I am so excited about being at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo this coming weekend and am hoping I will get to meet some of you at the show! I will be teaching a class – the first one in a long time! – and popping by the Rubbernecker booth and I just can’t wait.

I’ve heard through the grapevine that the Friday class is close to sellout status but there are some seats available for Saturday. This is how it usually goes and then all of a sudden those Saturday seats disappear! If you want to take the class – and I would LOVE to have you! – please sign up as soon as you know you want to so you don’t miss out.

You can sign up for the Friday class here.

And you can sign up for the Saturday class here.

Here’s the official rundown.

Join me and create four amazing cards! I will teach my step-by-step process for shading with Color Fuse inks to create beautiful scenes and realistic animals. You will also learn my step-by-step process of molding small die cut flowers to create a floral bouquet. You will be using many of my favorite dies and paper pads to make these cards. Due to time constraints, all items will be pre-cut and stamped. You will take home Rubbernecker’s Crafty Phrases Stamp Set (#3491) and four completed cards with envelopes valued at $49.

  • What products will be highlighted: Rubbernecker dies, Color Fuse inks, and paper pads.
  • What you will learn or complete: Four completed cards and the Crafty Phrases stamp set.
  • What do you need to bring to class: Scissors, tweezers, paper piercer, mounting tape, Glossy Accents or liquid glue, glue dots, and double-sided tape or tape runner.
  • What do you need to finish at home: Color Fuse inks and blending brushes.
  • What techniques you will learn or use: You will learn about shading small die cuts with Color Fuse and molding Rubbernecker flower die cuts.

Will you complete this project in class: It is possible some people will finish the projects in class.

I just love teaching classes and getting the opportunity to craft WITH you and share all the little tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way.

And then, after the class, I will be at the Rubbernecker booth to answer questions, help people find products I used on the hundreds of samples in the booth and otherwise just dish about cards.

If you are in the area, I sure hope you stop by to say hi and check out all the fun new stuff in the Rubbernecker booth!

  2. I took this class today and it was awesome. Your style, Kittie, is just so perfect. the attention to detail and well thought out placement, shading and every component of the cards make anyone look like a real expert crafter. So very glad I had this opportunity. I just feel sorry for the other cities that will not have a chance to take this class from one of my favorite card making idols! Thanks Kittie

    • Lynn, Your comment made my day. I appreciate it more than you know. I had lots of fun teaching the projects and showing people how easy it to create interesting and dimensional projects. Thank you for taking the time to write me and thank you for taking the class.
