Come see how quickly and easily you can make the most adorable cards with the Brass and Bliss Winter Train Paper Pad and Dies!
For the most fun, fast, easy and perfect for kids (of all ages!) holiday cards, you can’t get much easier, cuter or quicker than ones made with the fabulous Brass and Bliss, formerly known as Rubbernecker, Winter Train Paper Pad and Dies.
I used the Brass and Bliss Winter Train 6 X 6 Paper Pad, the so easy to use Winter Train Coordinating Dies, retired Snowflake Fun Slimline Paper Pad for my background and their Southwest Hills die set to make my little snowy ground.
This card comes together SO fast and easy thanks to the adorable pre-printed elements in the Winter Train 6 X 6 Paper Pad ready to be cut out with the also available coordinating dies.
Card Base and Die Cut Snow Layer
- Use white cardstock to cut an 8.50″ x 7.00″ slimline card base.
- Place the 7.00″ side along the top of the Scor-Pal and score and fold at 3.50″.
- Attach a piece of designer paper from the Snowflake Fun Slimline Paper pad and attach it to the card base.
- Use white cardstock to cut a Slimline Hills layer and attach it to the card base using a strip of mounting tape.
Pre-Printed and Die Cut Winter Train
- Pull out a sheet of images from the Winter Train Slimline Paper Pad and cut out each image leaving plenty of white space around each.
- Line up the coordinating dies for each image and run through the die cutting machine. Pro Tip: I secure the die to the image using a piece of masking tape for cutting.
- Attach the animals, presents and tree images to the back of the train cars using mounting tape and glossy accents.
- Apply a piece of mounting tape to the back of Santa’s head and attach him to the engine section.
- Adhere double layers of mounting tape to the back of the engine and cars and attach them to the card base.
Wasn’t that easy? And you can break up these elements and use just a few on each card to make these designs go even further. It’s the best of both worlds – handmade but with some precious help.
