Pumpkin and flower cards are so fun to make and are perfect to send to family and friends this fall.

I love making pumpkin and flower cards each fall and this card may be a bit over the top I love how it turned out. To make it I the Brass and Bliss Wooden Crate and Barrell, Fall Mushroom Bouquet, Spring Flowers, Large Garden Fence, Pumpkins and Ivy, Classic Tabbed Grass, Small Flowers #3, Grass #2 and Large Ivy.

To start I applied the Large Garden Fence and Classic Tabbed Grass to the card base using tiny pop dots and mounting tape. I cut several pumpkins from the Pumpkins and Ivy set and colored them using Citrus and Pumpkin inks and blending brushes.  Then I cut several sections of the Large Ivy and flowers from the Fall Mushroom Bouquet, Spring Flowers and Small Flowers #3. The crate from the Wooden Crate and Barrell was colored using using Caramel ink and a wet baby wipe.

Pro Tip:  Coloring larger die cuts like the crate is much easier and faster when applying the ink with a wet baby wipe.

Several pumpkins were attached to the back of the crate and then it was attached to the card base.  Several sections of ivy were tuck in behind the pumpkins and grass sections.  The molded flowers were arranged and attached to the ivy to create a floral bouquet.  Sections of the Grass #2 were tucked in behind the grass layer.  The front pumpkins were attached to the grass using pieces of mounting tape. The tiny flower centers attached for another element of interest.

Pro Tip:  When I cut dies with eyelet borders I keep the negative circles to use for flower centers or falling snowflakes.
