Come see how to use colored cardstock to create a pretty Fall Foliage Wreath using new dies from the Brass and Bliss “Midnight Mischief” release.
The branches from the new Brass and Bliss Fall Foliage die set were the perfect size to create this colorful wreath card. Cutting the sections using plain colored cardstock made quick work to create the arrangement. No coloring involved. I used the Lattice Cover, Twig Wreath with Leaves, Nested Rectangle Small Stitch and Autumn Splendor sentiment.
Embossed Background
- Cut a rectangle using the largest die in the nested set.
- Use a embossing mat and lattice die to emboss the white layer.
- Attach the embossed layer to the colored background using double stick tape.
Wreath
- Cut two sections of the wreath and color them using a wet baby wipe and brown ink. Pro Tip: A folded wet baby wipe has the perfect amount of moisture to apply ink to large pieces of cardstock. It’s so much easier than coloring with sponges or brushes.

- Heat dry the wreath sections and attach them together with tiny pop dots for dimension. Pro Tip: Be sure to offset the sections slightly for a fuller looking wreath.
- Cut the foliage sections using colored cardstock and attach them to the wreath frame using Nuvo glue.
- Apply a generous amount of glossy accents to the back of the wreath and attach it to the card base.
- Attach a pretty multi loop bow to the wreath using glue dots. Pro Tip: I used an orange Copic marker to color the ribbon to create the perfect match.
- Finish the card with the Autumn Splendor sentiment.
