Make a scene card with colorful fall leaves piled into an old garden cart using the newly released Nested Rectangle with Stitch and Fern Leaves die sets by Brass and Bliss.
I love making scene cards especially using fall leaves for the theme. To make this card I used the newly released Nested Rounded Rectangle with Stitch and Fern Leaves paired with the Half Tree, Classic Tabbed Grass, Wooden Garden Cart and Tiny Leaves #1. I will list a few simple steps to show how I assembled the scene.
Create the Fall Leaves Scene
Attach the rounded rectangle to the card base and use a strip of mounting tape to attach the grass layer.
Cut several sections of the tiny leaves and color them using a mini applicator Color Fuse Crimson, Grass, Pumpkin and Autumn. Pro Tip: I heat embossed each leaf with VersaMark and clear powder to enhance the colors on the leaves. It was a tedious process but I love the outcome. This step is certainly not necessary.
Color the tree and garden cart parts using brown ink and a wet baby wipe. Pro Tip: It is a time saver and create a nice even shading. Assemble the cart pieces and attach together using Nuvo glue.
Attach the leaves to the tree branches using Nuvo glue and leave several blank branches to show leaves falling.
Attach orange cardstock to the back side of the cart to fill in the spaces. Attach leaves to the cart using Nuvo glue to create a load of leaves. Attach the cart to the card base using a piece of mounting tape. Use a small glue dot to attach the wheel to the grass.
Cut several of the fern leaves using green cardstock and attach them to the base of the tree to add interest to the scene. Finish by attaching a few more leaves falling from the tree and on the fern and ground.
Here are all the products used to make my scene card. You can check out the complete Brass and Bliss release here.
