The Sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers today was a fun one. I decided to combine the sketch layout with the Dirty Dozen monthly challenge that was on SCS today. I chose to use my brand new set Posies for You by Anna Wight. The layout was perfect for creating a bucket of posies. Very simple card but lots of fun to do. I stamped the bucket image, masked it and stamped the flowers several times. I painted with gray, pink and rose reinkers and added color with SU markers. I sketched sprigs of grass with an artist pen around the bucket and the little flowers growing around the bucket and colored with an olive marker. I added some rusty marks on the bucket with my artist pen and added rust by brushing a dry brush over mustard ink pad and then applying lightly to the bucket. I sponged Ranger Distress scattered straw around the image to highlight. I cut out a few blooms and popped up in the arrangement and on the bucket to add depth to the bouquet. Sad they don’t show in the photo.

Beautifully done!
It doesn’t get any sweeter than this, Kittie. Love it.
gorgeous!! love it!!
Kitty, another beauty! I love your detail on and around the bucket. It looks like it’s been standing outside for a long time, got rusted while the flowers and grass grew around it. TFS
I see a couple of the blooms that I think are the ones popped up….lovely as usual!
