Bright Inspiration

The Inspiration Challenge today on SCS is brightly colored, candy covered pieces of clothing.

I decided to create a fun and festive Spring/Easter card with Happy Hoppers-Wagon Ride combined with Anna Wight’s Bo Peep’s Sheep. Stamped the image with Brilliance Black Graphite and watercolored with reinkers.  I hand sketched eggs with SU markers all around in the grass and on some scrap paper as well to cut and pop up.I used a flat dry brush and brushed it directly on the Garden Green ink pad and then brushed on the paper to create the green grass area.  I used my fern stamp and marker to create texture in the grass area. I sketched the trees with an artist pen and then brushed the Garden Green on the leaf area and filled in with the fern stamp. I stamped several chicks on scrap paper and colored with a Summer Sun marker and cut out to pop up along with the extra clumps of eggs.  I thought the chicks looked cute following along with the little bunny pulling the big fat bunny.  I always think this big bunny has a Jack Benny look on his face. You may be too young to remember Jack.  I used sponges to apply yellow and blue for the sky, attached the grosgrain for embellishment and attached to the card bases layers. I applied a layer of Crystal Effects over all the eggs, wagon and wheels.  This was lots of work but lots and lots of fun to create.
