The Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS today is to use eyelets. I pulled out an Elzybells image that I purchased a while back and have never had to the opportunity to use. I thought the jumbo eyelets would look cute as hub caps for the wheels on the car tires. I stamped the Elzy image on designer paper and also on the watercolor base layer. I stamped Elzy one more time on scrap watercolor paper so I could paint and cut her out for an added layer of dimension for the scene. I created the scene around the car by sketching out the trees, painting and by sponging the ground area. I filled in the leaves of the trees and grass area with the mini fern stamp. I sketched the house in the background behind the trees and watercolored. I popped up the designer paper car with mounting tape and popped up over the scene to complete. I’m not sure what Elzy is tossing out the window of the car but they have the letter L so I am going to guess that it’s love letters.
Edit: I received a comment from Conniecrafter answering the question as to what Elzy is tossing out the window. Now it makes sense. I ordered this image from the company in England to get a larger version of Elzy. I think the A Muse version has her tossing hearts out the window.
A new comment from “Conniecrafter” was received on the post “Flower Power Elzybells” of the weblog “KittieKraft”.

another cool scene, great idea with the grommets! when we lived in England when you were learning to drive you had to have those "L’s" on your car to let others know you were a "Learner", maybe she is throwing them out because she is excited she doesn’t have to have them anymore!

I love this Elzy. I have her too and have yet to ink her up. But I have to say Kittie, you went a long way to use two grommets for hubcaps! LOL! That looks like a lot of coloring, drawing and creating! Honestly, I don’t know how you came up with the idea, but it couldn’t be more perfect!!! Great job as always, I love it!
So very cute Kittie!!
How cute is this car? Took me right back to the 60’s. Flower power forever! You did a wonderful job and I love the hubcaps too!
Kittie, this is one of my favorite Elzys. I drive a yellow Beetle, so I had to have this stamp. I love the scent you created! I may have to get mine out again and try my hand at a scene. TFS

OH my Kittie! this one is fantastic! I don’t know if it all your great background or that car!!! Can I order one for me? How fun would that be! GREAT as always!
How much fun is this? I must rush right out and get this stamp so I can play with all these unique colors. Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow! Ok, now I need to learn how to sketch a Kittie house.
