The Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge will now be on Tuesdays.
In addition to the weekly challenge Jeanne will be posting each week you may now use either the SCS Color Challenge colors OR the SCS Sketch Challenge (or any combination of the 3!!!) for that week using any Rubbernecker image. Be sure and post a comment with a link to your entries on Jeanne's blog and enter as often as you wish for the monthly drawing!
To qualify for the drawing you can enter in all these ways by linking to the Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge post each week using a Rubbernecker, Stamp Oasis or KK Original image:

2. Make a card using the SCS Color Challenge colors.
3. Make a card using the SCS Sketch Challenge.
4. Make a card using any combination of the above!!!!!
Today's challenge is paper piecing. I love to paper piece on my projects. It adds so much added dimension. Today my project is a scene created totally by piecing with darling designer paper and colored images. I stamped my images several times on the coordinating papers with black craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I started building my layers with the different paper and had lots of fun. This project has lots of popped up images to create dimension and interest. The rooster, chicken and board walk were stamped and painted on white cardstock or watercolor paper with reinkers and a brush. Fun project. Jeanne has two paper piecing tutorials on her blog that are very helpful if this is a new technique to you.
Stamps: Rubbernecker- On the Farm Collection
Paper: SU Designer Paper, Watercolor, White
Ink: Black Craft, Distress Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo, Adirondack Lemonade, Latte
Accessories: Glue dots, Dimensionals, Watercolor Brushes, Grosgrain, Mounting Tape, Clear Embossing Powder, Black Glaze Pen
Here's another entry for today's RBC11 challenge combined with the SCS color challenge to use chocolate chip, sage and vanilla. I stamped the house image, sketched in additional hill lines, trees and a fence with a copic multiliner and painted with reinkers and a watercolor brush. The sage reinker is much darker than the ink pad and not dark enough to show up on itself so I added a little texture with hunter green and my mini fern stamp. I added lighter brown to the house and moose image by using Adirondack latte in addition to the chocolate. I cut the moose and an additional head and popped him up over the scene. Fun project.
