A Week of Projects
I have been so busy at work and by the time I get home I turn to stamping projects as a stress release. I haven't been able to post to my blog as regularly as I would like but thought I would upload some of the fun projects I worked on.
This was for a SCS challengeo use silhouette images. I used an evergreen tree form Rubbernecker stamping over and over to create a monochromatic forest scene with falling snow. I thought it was such a peaceful scene and the Peace on Earth sentiment fit it perfectly.
Stamps: Rubbernecker Stamp Oasis Winter Holiday Collection- Tree Set
This card for for the SCS limited supply challenge to only one image on the project and to only add one color to the exising white paper and black ink. The Fur Trimmed Coat from Rubbernecker was the perfect choice. I love this image and it reminds me of the song "Santa Baby"
Stamp: Rubbernecker Fur Trimmed Coat
This project was for the DD/DDA monthly challenge. This month the challenge was to create a one layer card. I chose to use Rubbernecker KK Original's Maurice snowman and Starlight Treasure trees and masked off with a circle cut with my Nestabilities die.
Stamps: Rubbernecker KK Original's Maurice and Starlight Treasure
This is a second projec that I did for DD/DDA single layer card and I combined with with the SCS Inspiration challenge. The inspiration piece was full of brown, olive, aqua and mustard. I thought this Scarecrow image from Rubbernecker was perfect. Does he not look like he just popped of the screen of the Wizard of Oz?
Stamps: Rubbernecker-Scarecrow
This is Midnight and Jack from Rubbernecker. I didn't have a challenge for this card but just thought it would be fun to create a fun scene with it. It is actually one image and I stamped twice to cut out the bow and pumpkin to pop up.
Stamps: Rubbernecker Midnight and Jack
Who doesn't love Riley from Hanna Stamps? It seems that each image is cuter than the last. I combined Riley with the Rubbernecker Spooky Tree to create a fun scene.
Stamps: Hanna Witch Riley, Rubbernecker Spooky Tree
The next two photos are of the same bookmark project. TheTechnique Lover's challenge on SCS yesterday was to create a different type of bookmark. This fits over the corner of your page to mark your spot. I thought School Riley was the perfect image for a bookmark and I added some of my Kittie Kit outdoor images and a little school house, all from Rubbernecker to create a perfect little scene.
Stamps: Hanna School Riley, Rubbernecker Kittie Kits and Neighborhood
This second photo is showing the bookmark slipped over the page to hold the spot.
Please forgive any misspelled word in my post. The Typepad spell check was not working this morning.
Oh my goodness they are all beautiful!
All of them are Fabulous Kittie!!
All of these cards are awesome! I especially can’t believe how you did so much with one layer. These are my favorites!
As for which cards I like to make the best, I think I like the fall cards because there is less stress about them. They’re just extra. Me and my friends tend to obsess about the “perfect” Christmas card.
Kittie’s on a fabulous stampin’ roll! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
I love’em all, Kittie! So much fun to behold!
Awesome projects Kittie, love them all!
Kittie, you have indeed, been one busy little beaver — hey does anyone have a beaver image? Hmmmm… Love the work, especially the Rubbernecker tree image in Peace on Earth. I’m needing some of that!
Christmas cards would be my choice…
Great projects! I just love making cards. I think I like to do Christmas ones more than fall, but really I love them all! LOL!
Kittie, I love the Spooky Greetings card. But then I love your bookmark. I will have to email you priviately and how you cut that one. Your work is outstanding as usual.
What a great bunch of cards. I especially like the fur trimmed coat-I haven’t seen that stamp before-so cute! I prefer making Christmas cards-I love Christmas and send several cards during that time.

Fall cards are my favorite. I love all the colors of Fall. I’m in the process of making mine now!
I probably like doing Christmas the best – heck, I’m a just a nut for Christmas (maybe the inner child in me!!!). Really love your Peace on Earth card!
Oh my gosh, a feast of gorgeous cards! These are all incredible Kittie. My favorite, the scarecrow, I love they way you’ve colored him, especially the glittery sun behind him, spectacular! My second favorite it the snowman scene, so much a “Kittie card”, just love it. The others are all spectacular as well, lovin’ the gorgeous red coat. Phew, you were one busy lady!
WOW! I don’t think I’ve seen any of these! Each and every one are just SPECTACULAR!
OMG!! I love all your cards!! I wish that when I got home I could stamp to relieve stress (usually, the more stressed I am, the less motivated I am!!)
Fall or Christmas cards? Hmmmm, that really is a hard on since I REALLY like both (those are my favorite seasons)
Love your work Kittie! Thanks for the chance at the candy. I definately like fall cards better – so many great colors to work with!
Wonderful projects, Kittie!! I just love the Riley bookmark!
Kittie, looks like you have been extremely busy this week! All of your cards are great! I think my favorite is the Scarecrow one–he does look like he’s from the Wizard of Oz! I like the book mark idea as well! Thanks for the chance to win some candy!
I love all your card, particularly your cards that are whimsical, like the scenes you create with Riley. My favorite cards to make are Halloween because they don’t require perfection! (:>
i don’t typically make “fall” cards, but even if i did i’d say i enjoy making Christmas cards the best. i make over 50 handmade cards for friends and family – and while it’s stressful and all, i just LOVE doing something personal for each person on my list 🙂 TFS
Wow your cards are so inspirational! I adore everyone one of them! I’m a Fall girl myself, I love making cards in earth tones with a splash of fall whimsy here and there!
I love making ANY type of cards, but I must say I love making Christmas cards. There are so many ways to say what’s on your heart at Christmastime, and all the pretty colors and embellies out there – definitely Christmas! Thanks!
I love Christmas cards cos snowflakes, reindeer and snowmen are my fave! 🙂
thanks so much 4 sharing! luv them all
I have to say FALL and I’m looking forward to getting my 1st Halloween stamps for some coloured fun! Your cards are all just fabulous. thx. 🙂
Love your cards — particularly the Christmas tree. I love using the “fall” colours but probably Christmas cards are my favorite as I like to use metallic embossing and sparkle.

You really have been busy. Love that moose. My favorite would have to be Christmas cards.
I have to say that my favorite is to make Fall cards. It’s overwhelming to me to try to make all my Christmas cards!
WOW! All of your artwork looks FANTASTIC! Of course I wouldn’t expect anything less! I make more Christmas cards than fall.
I’d have to say Christmas cards since I don’t really make many fall cards. I’ve already made about 40 of the 60 Christmas cards I need – can’t wait to have them done though!
These are gorgeous! I think I like making Christmas cards more because to me they hold more meaning. Thanks for the chance!
Kittie all of these are fantastic (as always)! I love making both Fall and Christmas cards so much, I would have to say it is a tie! Thanks so much for the chance at candy!
Awesome cards, just love the peace on earth, both your masking cards are so cool!! the halloween cards are so fun, and love the bookmark, so creative!
I love Fall cards – I think it’s because of all the warm colors – so cozy!
I like making both Fall cards and Christmas cards.
I guess if I really had to choose, I would say Christmas because of everything that it means.
