Stamping Fun

Please check out my Stamp and Accessory Sale.  I have REDUCED PRICES in hopes of clearing more stuff out my stamp area.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I sure did but it seems the time goes by too quickly. I enjoyed creating several projects that I want to share.

I am counting down the time until our family reunion vacation in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.  The SCS Friday challenge was to create a project that reminds you of a favorite vacation.  Nothing makes me happier than spending a week with my three sisters and their husbands at the beach. My project represents the four of us girls sitting on the beach enjoying lots of good conversation, good laughs and lots of rest.

KC Beach Party 16

I stamped the four beach chairs and sponged the sand, water and sky around them.  I stamped the chair and umbrella images on designer paper and paper pieced them into the scene.  I added sea foam by lightly applying Liquid Appliqué along the water’s edge and dabbing with my finger before heating.  I used a green marker to sketch in a few sea oats.

KC Sarah Kay Gardens Need Many Helpers

I love the playing with the Stampavie Sarah Kay images.  This little gardener appears to be so determined as he walks out to the vegetable patch.  I stamped the image on plain white cardstock and painted with a brush and reinkers that match the designer paper.  I cut him and popped up over the background scene. I thought the green bow was the perfect embellishment with the white stitching.

KC Tina Wenke Hedgehog with Umbrella

The SCS Saturday Inspiration Challenge site was Green Rainbow and I was inspired by all the circles in this baby blanket. I thought it would be fun to create a project using this circle designer paper. I carried on the circle theme using the Hedgehog with and the round top of the umbrella image and placing him in a round frame.  I stamped the image. painted in bright colors to match the designer paper  and cut out and popped up inside the frame.  My Stampavie teammate, Marga sent me the sweet Daisy Bucket Design Just for You sentiment and I thought it was just perfect to use since the hedgehog is handing out a bouquet of flowers.

Have a great week!!!!!!!

  1. Every single one of these makes me smile … oh so big, Kittie! Your coloring talent has long been an inspiration for me … and it shows in each one of these images! I think I most want to go to that beach … could we make it a plan?!
