May All Your Weeds Be Wildflowers

Good Tuesday morning.  I want to share a card that I made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple challenge. I have really been enjoying stretching myself to make CAS projects.  It is very challenging to create something that is visually interesting with very limited layers and embellishment.  I have stated in many past blog posts that clean and simple is not so “simple”.

KC Garden Phrase Set

I put a scalloped punched border across the top of the card to add a feminine touch of embellishment without adding color to the all white background.  I wanted all the color focus to be on the bouquet.  I designed the bouquet with punched foliage and flowers by adhering the stems and blossoms one at a time with Glossy Accents. I added dots of yellow stickles to the flower centers. The multi loop bow was made with pink organdy and is light enough to embellish the bouquet without overpowering it. I love how this turned out and think it would be a perfect pick-me-up to send to someone.

Have a happy Tuesday.
