Rubbernecker Announcement and Jungle Buddies

Good Saturday morning to you.  I am so happy and excited today to welcome three very talented ladies who will be joining the Rubbernecker Design Team.  You will definitely want to go and check out their wonderful blogs.

Jacquie Peifer    Javabluststamper

Jenny Erichsen    Pinch of Paisley Designs

Maria Gurnsey    Gingham and Polka Dots

I have had fun this morning playing in in the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge.  The inspiration site is Stephen Joseph Gifts and here is the item that inspired my project.

I love these little animals from the Baby Collection at I love these little animals from the Baby Collection at Rubbernecker. I went crazy with punched foliage but I think the animals look so cute in the jungle setting.

I stamped the images on watercolor twice with black versafine, painted with reinkers and water and cut out the heads of the lion and elephant and the mane of the giraffe to pop up over the full image for dimension. I cut the matted frame using Nestabilities die and layered over the main layer with mounting tape. I punched out several foliage fronds and stamped with the mini fern stamp from my Kittie Kits. I attached the animals to the framed area with mounting tape and glue dots and then applied the foliage around the animals using Glossy Accents.

Here’s a closer look at the dimension with the animals and foliage.
