Clean and Simple “Just Because”

Happy Monday morning! I had a wonderful restful weekend and I hope you did too. I have a clean and simple card to share with you today.  One big blue hydrangea flower and a simple sentiment is all there is but I love how sweet and simple it is.

I scored lines around the white layer to add just a little texture, stamped the sentiment and popped it up on the blue base card with mounting tape.  I created a three layer hydrangea using the same blue cardstock as the base.  I punched the flowers with the Martha Stewart triple hydrangea punch. I formed the little blossoms with a stylus pressing into a mouse pad. The leaves were created using a Spellbinders Shapeabilities foliage die. I attached the foliage and the flower to the card front using glossy accents.  You can check out my punched hydrangea tutorial if you would like to know how I made this pretty flower.

  2. As usual, just amazing. When I see an e-mail from you, I can’t wait to open it! Can’t e-mail you because the computer says I’m not set up for something, but just had to let you know how much I enjoy designs and your tutorials. Thanks for sharing them.

  3. The hydrangea card is so lovely!!! And the card over on Kittie’s Korner is, also. I never get tired of your wonderful punched flower arrangements. My craft room is still all packed away and I’m just itching to get back to making some cards. But, for now I just keep on shopping for crafting tools and looking at blogs to see what fun everyone else is having! LOL!!
